HOUSE GUIDE
INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE FLAT
IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DOOR:
Facing the building entrance, open the VIKEY link that we have sent you. On the intercom next to the door, dial the doorbell “CIN IT015146C2SHGDM9X8”.
Now, on the VIKEY link, you see 2 buttons: push the button labeled «building door» on your smartphone, and then «ok» to open.
Enter the building through the main wooden door and then through the iron gate (if it is not open, repeat the same procedure described above).
In the courtyard, find a staricase with elevator on the right side of the concierge office.
Take the elevator to the fourth floor: turn left, climb the flight of stairs and find your apartment door.
IN FRONT OF THE FLAT DOOR:
TO UNLOCK
OPTION 1:
Press once on Vikey link and open it to have access to your digital keys: two buttons will appear. Press the button labelled «apartment door», then press «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock». When the blue light appears on the cylinder, the cylinder is released: turn it two times to the left to unlock, then pull the handle down to open the door.
OPTION 2:
As an alternative, you can use the opening code (10 digits) that appears on the Vikey link when you push the button «apartment door» and then «open/close with code». Your personal code will appear. Push any button on the cylinder, then dial the code and press the padlock icon (one after the other). The cylinder is now released and like a key: turn it two times to the left to unlock, then pull the handle down to open the door.
TO LOCK
When you have to lock the door, please follow the same procedure. Activate the cylinder by pushing the button on your phone «apartment door», «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock» or dialing the code and pressing the padlock icon, then turn it to the right two times like a key. The door is now locked.
DURING YOUR STAY
You’ll find a set of keys in the apartment that we kindly ask you to keep with you during your stay.
You can ONLY open the building gate with the actual key, always use the link or the 10 digits code that you find in your Vikey link for the flat door.
Another easy way to lock and unlock the flat door is by the Blue Tag that you find attached to the set of keys.
ONCE IN FRONT OF THE VIKEY CYLINDER:
- Press any number on the keypad
- When the light becomes blue, place the Blue Tag on top of the screen
- When you hear a sound, the cylinder is active. You can turn it twice to open or close the door.
TO GET OUT OF THE BUILDING
To get out of the building, please push the white button ‘CAMPANELLO’ on the wall, on the left side of the building entrance.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Please do not use two or more electrical appliances at the same time (washing machine, AC, hair dryer) as it may cause an electricity shortage.
Should the electricity go out in the apartment please proceed as follows:
- Turn all the appliances off
- Find the electrical panel at the entrance, beside the stairs; make sure that all the switches are lifted up.
- If not, pull all the switches up
In case the electricity is still off, you should go to the main panel room downstairs (take the keys you have found in the apartment with you).
Please proceed as follows:
- go to the ground floor and at the end of the courtyard on the left you will find a green door; open it with the keys
- walk down the steps and follow the way shown in the pictures: find the meter named ‘FAINI’, flip the switch up and the electricity should be back in the flat
EQUIPMENTS
AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING SYSTEM
The air conditioning and the heating system work through the same split:
Use the remote and set it on the SNOWFLAKE symbol (in the summer season – air conditioning mode), on the SUN symbol (in the winter season – heating mode).
Due to Milano municipality rules, you should please use the heating system from mid October to mid April.
Use the remote to set:
Cold: between 21°C and 27°C
Warm: between 19°C and 21°C
BATHROOM WINDOW
Please always close the bathroom window before leaving the house
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Please make sure to dispose your rubbish as follows:
- ORGANIC WASTE: food waste
- NON RECYCLABLE: generic waste
- PAPER+CARDBOARD
- GLASS (AFTER CLEANING)
- PLASTIC (AFTER CLEANING)
Please find the garbage bins on the terrace and under the sink.
Please dispose the garbage and recycling in the proper bins in the courtyard.
HOUSE RULES
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, even electronic cigarettes
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, please be quite in the common areas of the building especially in the evening
- Turn all the lights and the air conditioning off before going out
- For safety reasons, close all windows when you are not at home
CHECK-OUT
Our guests are kindly asked to leave the flat by 11 am on the day of the check out.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO:
- Leave the towels on the bathroom floor (don’t do any washing, please)
- Wash your dishes
- Switch the lights and the air conditioning off
- Close the windows
- Take the trash out (instructions in the proper section)
VERY IMPORTANT: We kindly ask you to leave the keys on the table and to lock the door behind you.
