HOUSE GUIDE
INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE FLAT
IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DOOR:
In front of the building door, press the R button and keeping it pushed press the 1 button.
Horizontal lines will appear on the screen: now dial the code 2509 and press the button with the bell symbol. The gate will open.
Enter the building, go straight to the courtyard and take the ramp on the right side.
The door of the flat is on the left side (you will see the key box on the left of the apartment door).
IN FRONT OF THE FLAT DOOR
The key box on the left of the door contains your keys.
Open the black door on the box: the code that allows you to open it is 7072.
Once you have selected these four numbers, lift the black switch beside them down and pull the door towards you: the key box will open.
Enter the flat: there is a second set of keys in the flat that you can use during your stay, and that has to be left on the table when you check out.
VERY IMPORTANT
Please make sure to double check that the sets of keys are one on the table and one in the key box outside of the door as you definitely leave the flat.
Open the box and place ONE set of keys inside it, close it and rotate the numbers so that the box does not open anymore. Close the black door of the box.
WI-FI
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Please do not use two or more electrical appliances at the same time as it may cause an electricity shortage.
Should the electricity go out in the apartment please proceed as follows:
- Turn all the appliances off
- Check the main control panel in front of the entrance door: make sure that the switches are all lifted up
If the electricity is not back to normal, please exit the flat, go to the courtyard and follow the path shown in the pictures to reach the the underground electrical panels room and check the main meter.
As you reach it, find the meter labeled ‘BE MILANO’: pull the switch up and everything should be to normal.
EQUIPMENTS
HEATING SYSTEM
Due to Milano municipality rules, heating system is on from mid October to mid April (13/14 hours per day).
You can control the heat released by each radiator by turning the knob on them, according to your needs (warmer or colder).
HOT WATER
The electric heater has a capability of 90 liters.
We suggest you not to take everlasting showers or all at the same time one after the other (if you are 3 guests maybe 2 can take a shower in the morning, one in the evening) as the hot water may be unavailable at some point and then it could take some time for the water to be hot again (like a few hours).
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Please separate waste as follows:
- ORGANIC WASTE
- GENERAL WASTE – NON-RECYCLABLE
- PAPER AND CARDBOARD
- GLASS (CLEAN)
- PLASTIC (CLEAN)
The waste-sorting bins are located in the kitchen, under the sink.
PLEASE TAKE THE GARBAGE TO THE COMMUNAL TRASH CANS:
Please take the garbage to the communal trash cans in the courtyard. The bins are located inside the fenced area behind the hedge, see the pictures below. Make sure to carefully separate it, according to the instructions we provide, as the building can get fined if the recycling rules are not respected.
HOUSE RULES
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, even electronic cigarettes
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, please be quite in the common areas of the building especially in the evening
- Turn all the lights and the air conditioning off before going out
- For safety reasons, close all windows when you are not at home
CHECK-OUT
We kindly ask our guests to leave the apartment by 11:00 a.m. on check-out day.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO:
- Leave the towels on the bathroom floor (not in the washing machine; please do not wash them)
- Do not leave dirty dishes
- Turn all lights and the air conditioning off
- Close all windows
- Dispose of rubbish in the designated areas
VERY IMPORTANT:
As you check put, please make sure that one set of keys is on the table and the other set is inside the keybox outside the door. Open the keybox using the same procedure as at check-in. Put the keys inside, take a photo and send it to us via the AIRBNB chat (this is very important to ensure access for the next guest). Then close the keybox and turn the dials so that it can no longer be opened. Finally, close the black cover.
