HOUSE GUIDE
INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE FLAT
IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DOOR:
Facing the building entrance, open the VIKEY link that we have sent you. Push the button labeled «building door» on your smartphone, and then «ok» to open the door.
Enter the building, take the elevator and go to the 3rd floor.
As you exit the elevator, go to the left and then to the right on the balcony. The door of the flat is the last one on the right side (you will see the key box on the left side of the door).
IN FRONT OF THE FLAT DOOR
The key box on the left of the door contains your keys.
Open the black door on the box: the code that allows you to open it is 3134.
Once you have selected these four numbers, lift the black switch beside them down and pull the door towards you: the key box will open.
Use the key to open the upper lock (the lowest one is not locked) and enter the flat.
Enter the flat: there is a second set of keys in the flat that you can use during your stay, and that has to be left on the table when you check out.
VERY IMPORTANT
Please make sure to double check that the sets of keys are one on the table and one in the key box outside of the door as you definitely leave the flat.
Open the box and place ONE set of keys inside it, close it and rotate the numbers so that the box does not open anymore. Close the black door of the box.
TO GET OUT OF THE BUILDING
To get out of the building, push the white button on the left of the glass door, see the picture below.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Please do not use two or more electrical appliances at the same time (washing machine, hair dryer…) as it may cause an electricity shortage.
Should the electricity go out in the apartment please proceed as follows:
- Turn all the appliances off
- Check both panels inside the closet beside the entrance door; make sure that all the switches are lifted up and the electricity should be back.
EQUIPMENTS
AIR CONDITIONING
Use the remote control to turn on the A/C system on and set it between 21° C and 27° C.
You can find two splits: one in the living room and one in the bedroom
HEATING SYSTEM
Due to Milano municipality rules, the heating system is active from mid October to mid April (13/14 hours per day).
You can control the heat released by each radiator by turning the knob on them, according to your needs (warmer or colder).
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Please make sure to dispose your rubbish as follows:
- ORGANIC WASTE: food waste
- NON RECYCLABLE: generic waste
- PAPER+CARDBOARD
- GLASS (AFTER CLEANING)
- PLASTIC (AFTER CLEANING)
You can find the containers for waste sorting in the kitchen under the sink.
PLEASE TAKE THE GARBAGE TO THE COMMUNAL TRASH CANS:
Please take the garbage to the bins in the courtyard: you can reach them through the glass door in the photo.
HOUSE RULES
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, even electronic cigarettes
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, please be quite in the common areas of the building especially in the evening
- Turn all the lights and the air conditioning off before going out
- For safety reasons, close all windows when you are not at home
CHECK-OUT
Our guests are kindly asked to leave the flat by 11 am on the day of the check out.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO:
- Leave the towels on the bathroom floor (no washing please)
- Don’t wash the laundry please
- Wash your dishes
- Switch the lights and the air conditioning off
- Take the trash out
