INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE FLAT
IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DOOR:
Facing the building entrance, open the VIKEY link that we have sent you. you will see 2 buttons: push the button labeled «building door» on your smartphone, and then «ok» to open.
Enter the main door and turn left. Staircase A access is in front of you. Once in front of the glass door, dial the number “020” (IT015146C2DIFFBR7L) on the intercom. Open the Vikey link to the digital key on your phone again and press the ” building door” button, followed by the “OK” button. The glass door will now open.
Take the elevator to the fifth floor. As you exit the lift, turn right: the apartment door is the one in front of you (with a cylinder on the keylock).
IN FRONT OF THE FLAT DOOR:
TO UNLOCK
OPTION 1:
Press once on Vikey link and open it to have access to your digital keys: two buttons will appear. Press the button labelled «apartment door», then press «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock». When the blue light appears on the cylinder, the cylinder is released: turn it two times to the left to unlock, then turn the above golden handle to open the door.
OPTION 2:
As an alternative, you can use the opening code (10 digits) that appears on the Vikey link when you push the button «apartment door» and then «open/close with code». Your personal code will appear. Push any button on the cylinder, then dial the code and press the padlock icon (one after the other). The cylinder is now released and like a key: turn it two times to the left to unlock, and enter the flat
TO LOCK THE DOOR
When you have to lock the door, please follow the same procedure. Activate the cylinder by pushing the button on your phone «apartment door», «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock» or dialing the code and pressing the padlock icon, then turn it to the right two times like a key. Wait for a few seconds: the door is now locked.
DURING YOUR STAY
You’ll find a set of keys in the apartment that we kindly ask you to keep with you during your stay.
You can ONLY open the building gate with the actual key, always use the link or the 10 digits code that you find in your Vikey link for the flat door.
LOCK AND UNLOCK WITH BLU TAG
Another easy way to lock and unlock the flat door is by the Blue Tag that you find in the keychain.
ONCE IN FRONT OF THE VIKEY CYLINDER:
Press any number on the keypad
When the blu light appears, place the Blue Tag on top of the screen
When you hear a sound, the cylinder is active. You can now turn it twice to the left or to the the right, to lock or unlock the door.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Please do not use two or more electrical appliances at the same time (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hair dryer…) as it may cause an electricity shortage.
Should the electricity go out in the apartment please proceed as follows:
Turn all the appliances off
Check the electrical panel on the right side of the entrance door
Pull all the switches up, and the electricity should be back.
If the electricity is not back, find the main switch on the right end side of the entrance door, and pull the switch up.
EQUIPMENTS
AIR CONDITIONING
- Use the remote control to turn the A/C system on.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the A/C and then set it on the desired temperature (between 21 and 26 degrees).
- You can find a single split in the living room area
HEATING
Due to Milano municipality rules, the heating system is working from mid October to mid April for a few hours a day (approximately 13/14 hours per day).
You can control the heat released by each radiator by turning the knob on the side, according to your needs (warmer or colder +/- or 5/1 ).
HOT WATER
The electric heater has a capability of 80 liters.
We suggest you not to take everlasting showers or all at the same time one after the other (if you are 3 guests maybe 2 can take a shower in the morning, one in the evening) as the hot water may be unavailable at some point and then it could take some time for the water to be hot again (like a few hours)
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Please make sure to dispose your rubbish as follows:
- ORGANIC WASTE: food waste
- NON RECYCLABLE: generic waste
- PAPER+CARDBOARD
- GLASS (AFTER CLEANING)
- PLASTIC (AFTER CLEANING)
You can find the containers for waste sorting in the kitchen under the sink.
PLEASE TAKE GARBAGE TO THE COMMUNAL TRASH CANS:
Please dispose of garbage and recycling in the proper containers in the courtyard, in the dedicated area on the left side of the glass door . Please make sure to dispose the rubbish bags in the correct bins according to the instructions provided in the following slide
HOUSE RULES
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, even electronic cigarettes
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, please be quite in the common areas of the building especially in the evening
- Turn all the lights and the air conditioning off before going out
- For safety reasons, close all windows when you are not at home
CHECK-OUT
Our guests are kindly asked to leave the flat by 11 am on the day of their check out.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO
- Leave the towels on the bathroom floor (don’t do any washing, please)
- Wash your dishes
- Switch the lights and the air conditioning off
- Close the windows
- Take the trash out (instructions in the proper section)
VERY IMPORTANT: We kindly ask you to leave the keys on the table and to lock the door behind you .
