HOUSE GUIDE
INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE FLAT
IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DOOR:
Facing the building entrance, open the VIKEY link that we have sent you.
On the intercom next to the door, dial the number 32 and press C on the keypad.
Now, on the VIKEY link, you see 2 buttons: push the button labeled «building door» on your smartphone, and then «ok» to open.
Enter the building and take the elevator on your right until the fifth floor (do not use the upper keyboard).
Exit the elevator, turn left and your flat door is the one on your right with a cylinder as a handle.
IN FRONT OF THE FLAT DOOR:
TO UNLOCK
OPTION 1:
Press once on Vikey link and open it to have access to your digital keys: two buttons will appear. Press the button labelled «apartment door», then press «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock». When the blue light appears on the cylinder, the cylinder is released: turn it two times to the right to unlock and one more time to open the door.
OPTION 2:
As an alternative, you can use the opening code (10 digits) that appears on the Vikey link when you push the button «apartment door» and then «open/close with code». Your personal code will appear. Push any button on the cylinder, then dial the code and press the padlock icon (one after the other). The cylinder is now released and like a key: turn it two times to the right to unlock and one more time to open the door.
TO LOCK
When you have to lock the door, please follow the same procedure. Activate the cylinder by pushing the button on your phone «apartment door», «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock» or dialing the code and pressing the padlock icon, then turn it to the left two times like a key. The door is now locked.
DURING YOUR STAY
You’ll find a set of keys in the apartment that we kindly ask you to keep with you during your stay.
You can ONLY open the building gate with the actual key, always use the link or the 10 digits code that you find in your Vikey link for the flat door.
Another easy way to lock and unlock the flat door is by the Blue Tag that you find attached to the set of keys.
ONCE IN FRONT OF THE VIKEY CYLINDER:
- Press any number on the keypad
- When the light becomes blue, place the Blue Tag on top of the screen
- When you hear a sound, the cylinder is active. You can turn it twice to open or close the door.
TO GET OUT OF THE BUILDING
To get out of the building, please push the white button on the door frame, on the right side of the building entrance.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Please do not use two or more electrical appliances at the same time (washing machine, AC, hair dryer) as it may cause an electricity shortage.
Should the electricity go out in the apartment please proceed as follows:
Turn all the appliances off
Find the electrical panel in the wardrobe in the hallway in the last closet door (next to the bedroom door), behind the ironing board, check if all the switches are up; if not, lift them all and everything should return to normal.
In case the electricity is still off, you should go to the main panel: exit the apartment, go beyond the elevator and find a glass door. Open It and on your right are the main meters. The apartment meter is the fourth from the left (Antonio Cantore is written on the door). Lift the switch and everything will be restored.
EQUIPMENTS
AIR CONDITIONING
Use the remote control to turn the A/C system on and set It between 21°C and 27°C.
Press the ON/OFF button to start the A/C and use the + or – buttons to set the temperature as required.
You can find two splits: one in the living room and one in the bedroom.
HEATING SYSTEM
Due to Milano municipality rules, heating system is on from mid october to mid april in specific time slots during the day.
There is a building heating system and you can adjust the temperature of the radiators by turning the knob.
HOT WATER
The electric heater has a capability of 80 liters.
We suggest you not to take everlasting showers or all at the same time one after the other (if you are 3 guests maybe 2 can take a shower in the morning, one in the evening) as the hot water may be unavailable at some point and then it could take some time for the water to be hot again (like a few hours)
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Please make sure to dispose your rubbish as follows:

NON RECYCLABLE: generic waste

GLASS (AFTER CLEANING)
PLASTIC (AFTER CLEANING)
Garbage bins are in the kitchen. Please dispose of garbage and recycling in the proper containers.
PLEASE TAKE GARBAGE TO THE COMMUNAL TRASH CANS:
Please place your sorted garbage bags in the designated bins in the courtyard.
Take the elevator to the ground floor; exit the elevator and turn right then continue into the courtyard on the right and continue to the shared garbage bins, where you can dispose of your bags.
Please dispose of your garbage during your stay and before your departure.
Please follow the instructions carefully.
Fines are common for those who do not follow these rules and we will not be happy to charge you in case.
HOUSE RULES
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, even electronic cigarettes
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, please be quite in the common areas of the building especially in the evening
- Turn all the lights and the air conditioning off before going out
- For safety reasons, close all windows when you are not at home
CHECK-OUT
Our guests are kindly asked to leave the flat by 11 am on the day of the check out.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO:
- Leave the towels on the bathroom floor (don’t do any washing, please)
- Wash your dishes
- Switch the lights and the air conditioning off
- Close the windows
- Take the trash out (instructions in the proper section)
VERY IMPORTANT: We kindly ask you to leave the keys on the table and to lock the door behind you.
