HOUSE GUIDE
INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE FLAT
IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DOOR:
Facing the building entrance, open the VIKEY link that we have sent you. On your VIKEY link, push the button labeled «building door» on your smartphone, and then «OK». On the intercom next to the door, push the button labelled «POLGAR IT015146C2W8KTZPPT»; in a few seconds the building door will open.
Enter the courtyard, turn left and take the stair «A». Go to the first floor and find the key box above the doorbell.
IN FRONT OF THE FLAT DOOR:
The key box above the bell that contains your keys.
Open the black door on the box: the code that allows you to open it is 1872.
Once you have selected these four numbers, lift the black switch beside them down and the key box will open.
There is a second set of keys in the flat that you can use during your stay and that has to be left on the table when you check out.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Please make sure to double check that the sets of keys are one on the table and one in the key box outside the door when you definitely leave the flat. Open the box and place ONE set of keys inside it, close it and rotate the numbers so that the box does not open anymore. Shift the small black door of the box up.
HOW TO CLOSE THE APARTMENT DOOR:
To lock the door from the outside, turn the key to the right.
To lock the door from the inside, turn the knob to the left.
TO GET OUT OF THE BUILDING:
To get out of the building, push the white button on the wall located at the left of the building door.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Please do not use two or more electrical appliances at the same time (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hair dryer…) as it may cause an electricity shortage.
Should the electricity go out in the apartment please proceed as follows:
- Turn all the appliances off
- Check the electrical panel in the cabinet beside the door. You find two panels; pull all the switches up and everything should return to normal.
EQUIPMENTS
AIR CONDITIONING
Use the remote control to turn on the A/C system and set it between 21° C and 27° C.
You can find two splits: one in the living room and one in the bedroom.
HEATING SYSTEM
Due to Milano municipality rules, heating system is on from mid october to mid april in specific time slots during the day.
There is a building heating system and you can adjust the temperature of the radiators by turning the knob.
BEDROOM SHUTTERS
Please make sure that the shutters are secured with the hook when open.
Severe damages may happen in case of wind if you don’t follow the recommended procedure.
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Please separate waste as follows:
- ORGANIC WASTE
- GENERAL WASTE – NON-RECYCLABLE
- PAPER AND CARDBOARD
- GLASS (CLEAN)
- PLASTIC (CLEAN)
The waste-sorting bins are located in the kitchen, under the sink.
PLEASE TAKE GARBAGE TO THE COMMUNAL TRASH CANS:
We kindly ask you to dispose the garbage in the appropriate bins in the courtyard during your stay and before checking out.
HOUSE RULES
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, even electronic cigarettes
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, please be quite in the common areas of the building especially in the evening
- Turn all the lights and the air conditioning off before going out
- For safety reasons, close all windows when you are not at home
CHECK-OUT
We kindly ask our guests to leave the apartment by 11:00 a.m. on check-out day.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO:
- Leave the towels on the bathroom floor (not in the washing machine; please do not wash them)
- Do not leave dirty dishes
- Turn all lights and the air conditioning off
- Close all windows
- Dispose of rubbish in the designated areas
VERY IMPORTANT:
As you check put, please make sure that one set of keys is on the table and the other set is inside the keybox outside the door. Open the keybox using the same procedure as at check-in. Put the keys inside, take a photo and send it to us via the AIRBNB chat (this is very important to ensure access for the next guest). Then close the keybox and turn the dials so that it can no longer be opened. Finally, close the black cover.
