HOUSE GUIDE
INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE FLAT
IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DOOR:
Facing the building entrance, open the VIKEY link that we have sent you. On the intercom next to the front door, dial the number 40 and bell symbol. Now, on the VIKEY link, you will see 2 buttons: push the «building door» button on your smartphone, and then «ok» to open.
Enter the building from the glass door, pass by the concierge and go to the balcony in front of you. Follow the path going left (SCALA C) and open the glass door in front of you. Take the elevator and go to the third floor.
The door to your apartment is the one on the left with the label ‘EL’ on the doorbell.
IN FRONT OF THE FLAT DOOR:
TO UNLOCK
OPTION 1:
Press once on Vikey link and open it to have access to your digital keys: two buttons will appear. Press the button labelled «apartment door», then press «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock». When the blue light appears on the cylinder, the cylinder is released: turn it two times to the right to unlock, then turn the handle to open the door.
OPTION 2:
As an alternative, you can use the opening code (10 digits) that appears on the Vikey link when you push the button «apartment door» and then «open/close with code». Your personal code will appear. Push any button on the cylinder, then dial the code and press the padlock icon (one after the other). The cylinder is now released and like a key: turn it two times to the right to unlock, then turn the handle to open the door.
TO LOCK
When you have to lock the door, please follow the same procedure. Activate the cylinder by pushing the button on your phone «apartment door», «open/close with cell phone» and «unlock» or dialing the code and pressing the padlock icon, then turn it to the left two times like a key. The door is now locked.
DURING YOUR STAY
You’ll find a set of keys in the apartment that we kindly ask you to keep with you during your stay.
You can ONLY open the building gate with the actual key, always use the link or the 10 digits code that you find in your Vikey link for the flat door.
Another easy way to lock and unlock the flat door is by the Blue Tag that you find attached to the set of keys.
ONCE IN FRONT OF THE VIKEY CYLINDER:
- Press any number on the keypad
- When the light becomes blue, place the Blue Tag on top of the screen
- When you hear a sound, the cylinder is active. You can turn it twice to open or close the door.
TO GET OUT OF THE BUILDING
To get out of the building, push the black button located just close the concierge’s window as you can see in the pics:

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Please do not use two or more electrical appliances at the same time (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hair dryer…) as it may cause an electricity shortage.
Should the electricity go out in the apartment please proceed as follows:
- Turn all the appliances off
- Check the electrical panel on the wall in the single room next to the entrance door
- Pull all the switches up checking the white main and also the black one
EQUIPMENTS
AIR CONDITIONING
Use the remote control to turn on the A/C system and set it between 21° C and 27° C.
You can find two splits: one in the living room and one in the double bedroom
HEATING SYSTEM
Due to Milano municipality rules, heating system is on from mid october to mid april.
There is a building heating system in the floor not adjustable and set by the building.
BEDROOM BLIND
To raise and lower the blind, you need to hold down the ‘UP’ or ‘DOWN’ button to the left of the bed.
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Please separate waste as follows:
- ORGANIC WASTE
- GENERAL WASTE – NON-RECYCLABLE
- PAPER AND CARDBOARD
- GLASS (CLEAN)
- PLASTIC (CLEAN)
The waste-sorting bins are located in the kitchen, under the sink.
PLEASE TAKE GARBAGE TO THE COMMUNAL TRASH CANS:
Go to the entrance balcony and go down the iron stair as in the pic; go behind and you find the garbage collection and disposal area with bins.
Fines are common if these rules are not observed
- Plastic and cans: metal bin with yellow bag
- Non recyclable waste: metal bin with white/transparent bag
- Clean paper: white bin
- Glass: green bin
- Organic waste: brown bin
HOUSE RULES
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, even electronic cigarettes
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, please be quite in the common areas of the building especially in the evening
- Turn all the lights and the air conditioning off before going out
- For safety reasons, close all windows when you are not at home
CHECK-OUT
Our guests are kindly asked to leave the flat by 11 am on the day of the check out.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO:
- Leave the towels on the bathroom floor (don’t do any washing, please)
- Wash your dishes
- Switch the lights and the air conditioning off
- Close the windows
- Take the trash out (instructions in the proper section)
VERY IMPORTANT: We kindly ask you to leave the keys on the table and to lock the door behind you.
